Cancer is one of the most empathetic signs of the zodiac, along with Pisces, and in Sense8 the characters feel what others feel: the title itself says so! This series is a pearl underestimated by many!
Plot: The story of Sense8 begins when the psychic connection of eight strangers of a variety of walks of life from different parts of the world is “birthed” by a woman called Angelica, who kills herself to avoid capture by a man called “Whispers”. The eight discover they now form a cluster of “sensates”: human beings who are mentally and emotionally linked, can sense and communicate with one another, and can share their knowledge, language and skills.
2. This Is Us
Cancers are sensistive, and This Is Us is such a lovely show – but prepare your tissues! Cancers have an attraction to the past. They like to keep traditions alive. Predictable environments make them feel comfortable. They like to know what’s going to happen. Tha’s why This Is Us is perfect for this sign: it’s emotional, you KNOW what’s going to happen, you just don’t know how and that’s when flashbacks come in hand. You’ll simply love it!
Plot: The series follows the lives of siblings Kevin, Kate, and Randall (known as the “Big Three”), and their parents Jack and Rebecca Pearson. It takes place mainly in the present, but uses flashbacks and flashforwards to show other significant moments in the family’s history.
3. Manifest
Just like Sense8, this show is perfect for the empathetic Cancer. A show that will leave you wanting more and more, with many mysteries and especially empathy!
Plot: While traveling from Jamaica to New York City, Montego Air Flight 828 experiences a brief period of severe turbulence. When they land at Stewart International Airport in Newburgh, New York, the plane’s 191 passengers and crew learn from NSA deputy director Robert Vance that over five and a half years have passed while they were in the air, during which time they were presumed dead. As they rejoin society, the passengers begin to face the fact that their lives—and loved ones—are not the same as they were, while they also begin to experience guiding voices and visions representing events yet to occur, referred to as ‘Callings.’
