Valentine’s Day is coming: not everyone likes this day, so here are 5 unconventional movies that you can watch during this day!
Romantic movies are endless: there are rom-coms everywhere, most of which have an obvious ending! If you don’t like banal movies with a conventional and predictable ending, but you love love stories, this list is for you!
Below you will find a list of some movies that have a love story inside, but do not end as you would expect.
1. La La Land
La La Land is my absolute favorite movie. If you haven’t done it yet, watch it: it’s a masterpiece! From the acting of the protagonists (Emma Stone and Ryan Gosling), music (it’s a musical), choreography, photography… It’s worth it. It might scare you being a musical, but I assure you that you will love it!
La Land tells the love story of Mia and Sebastian, a jazz musician and an aspiring actress.
2. Crazy Stupid Love
If you want to laugh, this is the right movie for you. Between laughter, love stories and twists, Crazy Stupid Love is the perfect compromise!
An exceptional cast will accompany you in many different love stories, for all ages! Watch it, especially if, like me, you are a fan of the Stone-Gosling pairing!
To overcome his inexperience with appointments after the sudden end of his marriage, Cal receives help from a persuasive playboy who finds bread for his teeth!
3. Remember Me
Another love story starring Robert Pattinson and Emilie de Ravin. A film whose ending will leave you speechless. That’s all I’m gonna say.
Tyler and Ally, two young lovers, try to carry on their love story despite a series of tragic events that have affected their respective families.
4. Someone Great
A delicate, fun movie in which the love story we are talking about is perhaps not the one about a partner. The bubbly Gina Rodriguez is the protagonist!
Dumped by her boyfriend after a long relationship, a journalist recruits her two best friends for an exciting adventure in New York before moving to San Francisco.

5. Before We Go
Another romantic movie with an unexpected ending is Before We Go, in which Chris Evan serves as both director and lead actor alongside Alice Eve.
Grand Central Station in Manhattan: Eve just missed her train. While waiting, she meets a street musician and spends a romantic night-time adventure with him, falling madly in love with him.
