Here are 5 shows to watch if you need a good laugh!

In case you need a good laugh, here are 5 shows you can watch to cheer you up when you’re having a bad day – or simply want to have fun!

I know: there are so many comedy tv shows out there. But if I have to be honest, there aren’t many who actually made me laugh. I must confess I just started watching The Office – better late than never, right? – so I can’t put that in this list. However, I’ve watched a few shows that genuinely made me laugh. I hope the shows on this list will make you laugh too!

New Girl

I mean, this had to be on top of my list. It’s my favorite sit-com and one of my fav shows and I just love it. The characters are so funny, you’re going to love them all, I promise! Also, Nick Miller is such a mood.

Plot: The series revolves around a kooky teacher, Jessica Day, after she moves into a Los Angeles loft with three men, Nick Miller, Winston Schmidt, and Winston Bishop; their former roommate Coach and Jess’ best friend Cece Parekh are also part of the series. The show combines comedy and drama elements as the characters, who are in their early thirties, deal with relationship issues and career choices.

Why Women Kill

Okay, I know this could sound weird, but this show made me laugh my a** out. It’s such a brilliant show, I can’t recommend it enough! It combines comedy, drama and mistery. Also, the cast is *chef’s kiss*.

Plot: Why Women Kill is an American dark comedy-drama anthology television series created by Marc Cherry. Set in multiple time periods, the series depicts the events leading to deaths caused by women.

Lucifer

I KNOW, THIS IS EVEN WEIRDER. But the fact is, I just love when Lucifer made all those jokes about him being the Devil and nobody would take him seriously. I loved all the double meaning jokes, they just made me jiggle. Lucifer is simply hilarious.

Plot: The series revolves around the story of Lucifer Morningstar, the DC Universe’s version of the Devil, who abandons Hell for Los Angeles where he runs his own nightclub named Lux and becomes a consultant to the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD).

Fleabag

This show will crush you, but it will also make you laugh so much! Phoebe Waller-Bridge is simply brilliant on this. Such an irriverent show! The protagonist frequently breaks the fourth wall to provide exposition, internal monologues, and a running commentary to the audience. As I said, Fleabag will also break your heart so be prepared.

Plot: Fleabag is a young London woman who has a troubled life, due to a dysfunctional family, economic difficulties related to the management of a coffee shop, which she had opened with her late best friend, and her unstable and hectic sex and love life.

Riverdale

Not a comedy show, I know, but Riverdale is just hilarious. It’s such a trash, absurd show the only way you can watch it is without taking it too seriously. It honestly makes me laugh for how insane that show is and I keep watching it because I want to see how far they take it, lol.

Plot: After a teenager was murdered within the town of Riverdale, a group of teenagers try to unravel the evils lurking within this seemingly innocent town.

What about you? Have you watched any of these? What are the shows you watch when you need a good laugh?
