Tobias Menzies wins the audience’s heart further by dedicating his Emmy to his late fellow nominee Michael K. Williams!
Winner of an Emmy as Best Supporting Actor for his performance of Prince Philip on The Crown Season 4, Tobias Menzies was one of the great absentees at the ceremony that was held last Sunday in Los Angeles. However, the British actor, best known for playing the double role of Frank and Black Jack Randall on Outlander, hit everyone’s hearts with a recent tweet in which he thanks the Television Academy for the recognition they gave him and especially dedicating his award to Michael K. Williams, his late fellow nominee.
“Very humbled to win @TheEmmys last night, huge thanks to @TVAcademy & congrats to all my brilliant fellow nominees. But want to dedicate this to Michael K Williams, his performance as Omar in The Wire is one of the great screen performances, he will be deeply missed.
