Dynasty fans: pack your bags and run to visit the real Carrington mansion! Here’s where the reboot of the series aired from 1981 to 1989 was filmed!
The original “Dynasty” was filmed in Denver, Colorado, and used a residence in Pasadena, California as a set. The reboot, starring Fallon Carrington (Elizabeth Gillies), is set in Atlanta, Georgia.
According to a letter to Sammy Jo showing the address, the property is located at 3673 Riverly Road N.W., which is a real place in town. But that’s not where you can find the real mansion used in the show.
While the interior scenes are filmed on a studio set located at Eagle Rock Studios in Atlanta, here’s what we know about the house used in exterior shots in the new “Dynasty.”
The real mansion is located in Suwanee, Georgia

The Carrington Mansion seems to be loosely modelled on the home of the late creator of the original show, Aaron Spelling. That $120 million property (in 2019) is described as “the largest house in all of Los Angeles” and has a total of 123 rooms.
This is not the only villa used in the Dynasty. Only the most attentive fans have noticed that the villa used in the first episode of the series is different from that of the following episodes. The first villa is located in Chattahoochee River in Atlanta, Georgia. It belonged to Tyler Perry before being bought by Steve Harvey in 2020 for $15 million!
