Can you tell us a bit about your character in Tails of Christmas?
My character’s name is Caleb. He is a injured army vet. That is where the movie starts. He’s a really good guy with a good heart and he’s been through a lot. He gets injured and has to get discharged from the army. And he’s trying to find purpose. He’s trying to find something that makes him feel alive again. And that is kind of where we start the show.
What initially attracted you to your role in this movie?
So when I originally got the script, I read through it. And my first thought was: this is an incredible guy. I just was reading and by the 30, like the 35th page or something, I was like, my character is such a good guy. And I just like, I would love to play a character who might be maybe a stretch, who is a better person than me. I’m like, it’s hard to live up to those expectations of someone who is such a good guy and volunteers his time. And that’s, again, where the movie kind of starts at flash forwards. And you see him volunteering at an animal shelter. And it’s just, it starts with cuteness and has cuteness the whole way through because of the animals.
