The new Lifetime thriller movie, Catfish Murder, is expected to air on the channel on Thursday, August 17th, 2023. We at Survived The Shows had the pleasure of chatting with star Jason Cermak about his experience in the making of Catfish Murder and what fans can expect from the movie.
Can you tell us a bit about your character?
Jason Cermak: Jack. He’s just a great guy. What can I say? He’s a single dad, he’s raising his young daughter and he’s just trying to get to his new coworker played by Gina, Gina Holden, and kind of has a liking to her. Maybe it goes about it in a bit of a wrong way, but all in all. I think he’s a pretty great guy, but it’s up to the viewers to figure out what they think about him.
What initially attracted you to the role?
Jason Cermak: I’ve worked with Gina Holden before. Quite a few years ago. There was not without my baby. I believe it was called Nikki De Boer was in it and it was directed by David Winning. And I had just an amazing time working with Gina. Lachlan Monroe from Riverdale was on that one as well. So yeah, getting a chance to work with Gina again, I just jumped at the opportunity.
