Jill Wagner and Paul Greene star in the new Great American Family Christmas movie Bringing Christmas Home, premiering October 28 at 8/7c on the network as a part of the Great American Christmas line-up. We at Survived The Shows had the pleasure of chatting with star Jess Brown about her experience in the making of Bringing Christmas Home and what fans can expect from the movie.
Can you tell us a bit about your character Jules Carlisle ?
She is fun. She she loves to be involved, that’s for sure. She’s a huge optimist. She really loves her brother. She really believes in in big love and she’s got a little quirky side. She’s not afraid to make a joke. Yeah, I think she’s just like a really positive, light hearted person to have around what attracted me. Well, First off, the brother, sister relationship is a big one for me. I have a brother and we love each other very much. We get along really well. So anytime I get to play a role that has that same relationship with their sibling, it really sits in the in a perfect place in my heart. So I really enjoy portraying that on screen. I also just think she’s fun.
What initially attracted you to the role of Jules Carlisle in “Bringing Christmas Home ”?
I liked her energy. I always really enjoy playing these kind of sidekick roles to the leads because they get to say silly little things. Or yeah, I think they just get to bring a little, a little fun. And yeah, I really, I liked her. The minute I read it, I really felt like I was like she’s me. It’s just got to be me.
