Lifetime Channel premiered new thriller movie “Picture her Dead” on Sunday, August 13th. We at Survived The Shows had the chance to interview star Kristi Murdock and discuss about the movie “Picture her Dead” with her. Check out full interview below!
What initially attracted you to the role of Ariande?
KRISTI MURDOCK: Ariande is a role that is very, very different from who I am and very, very different from all of the roles I have played thus far. She is very cold. She’s not a warm person at all. Not to say that she’s mean by any means, but she’s very business. She’s like, you know, black and white and she is, she is a reporter shows. So she’s like a dog with a bone. Once she gets latched onto something, she doesn’t let it go. And she wants to find out every single detail that she needs to know to uncover the truth.
And so, you know, I was initially really, really drawn to this character because it was so different than who I am. I mean, I even tried to lower the register of my voice playing her because. And the rhythm in which I spoke and the authoritativeness of how I say things. And because that’s not who Kristi is, you know? So it was a challenge for sure.
What can you tease about your character Journey?
KRISTI MURDOCK: Without giving too much away, what can I tease about Ariande and her journey? Let’s just say that she very much is obsessed with the truth and she will not stop until she gets what she wants. So I think that’s as much as I can give away because I think anything else will give away too, too much.
