Kristin, can you tell us a bit about Larissa Rush? What drew you to her character in The Christmas Charade?
I don’t want to give away too much because she’s a bit of a mystery and a bit of a surprise. But I can say that there was a little bit of a James Bond theme going on with the opening of the film. I get to be sort of a part of that, which was a lot of fun and it’s quite a glamorous role, exciting. I was so thrilled when Vortex Productions asked me to be a part of it because they had already sold the film to Hallmark and it was a great, great, fun time on set. Everyone was amazing. Corey was a great director and it was a pleasure. I really enjoyed my time working with everybody on it.
What’s unique about Larissa’s role in the storyline, and how does she fit into the high-stakes world of undercover missions and holiday magic?
Well, again, I don’t want to give too much away, but she is definitely a part of the Mission Impossible side of the film, you know, this spy agent sort of thing going on there.
