UPTV ‘s movie “Discovering Love”, is all set to premiered on the channel on Sunday June 23th, 2024 at 8/7c. We at Survived The Shows had the pleasure of chatting with lead actresses Liliana Tandon about her experience in the making of Discovering Love and what fans can expect from the movie.
Can you tell us a bit about your character in Discovering Love?
I play Skylar Ray, who is an archaeology professor whose department is on the verge of being shut down. So she decides to go look for an ancient artifact in Greece. She’s teamed up with a roguish treasure hunter against her will. She does not want to be teamed up with him to try to find this ancient artifact in order to try to save her department. And then, of course, as the movie progresses, you know, she learns to work together with this handsome gentleman and they discover a lot of things along the way.
What do you think makes this movie so special and captivating?
So I think what makes this movie really different and special is that it is a treasure hunt movie, which is really fun. So if you like movies like, you know, national treasure and Indiana Jones, we kind of have flavors of that in the film, which I think is really fun for audiences. They can kind of be along with the characters for the mystery and uncovering the mystery of the story. And then, as I kind of mentioned, the location, I think, is really what makes it special. We filmed on location on an island in Greece called Kefalonia, and it’s just gorgeous. I mean, Evan, our DP, did an amazing job filming all these drone shots of the island, and it was just incredible. And it looks absolutely beautiful. So I think audiences will really feel like they’re there and part of the journey with the characters.
