Aimee Garcia, Paul Campbell, Meghan Heffern and Matt Hamilton star in The Case of Mystery Lane: Death is Listening, a new, original movie premiering September 13th at 8 p.m. ET/PT on Hallmark Mystery. We at Survived the Shows had the incredible chance to speak with star Meghan Heffern, who teased Hallmark’s The Case of Mystery Lane: Death is Listening and her experience in the movie. Check out the full interview in the video below!
Can you tell us a bit about your character in The Case of Mystery Lane: Death is Listening?
I play Kristin Duckburn, and I am a former friend of Birdie. It’s hard to explain Kristin without giving away the movie, but I can say that she is dating. Well, we find out she’s dating officer Newton, which is funny. Little twist, coincidence. And then we also find out that she is publisher of the podcaster that this movie’s about.
What initially attracted you to your role in The Case of Mystery Lane: Death is Listening?
I auditioned for it, and it’s always nice to book a role when you audition for it. But also, I had worked with Paul Campbell, like, ten years ago. Really excited to reunite and get to work with him. Amazing hands.
The interview with Meghan Heffern has been edited and condensed for lenght and clarity. Watch the full video interview at the top of the article!
