What’s the main element in Noor’s character and the movie in general that fascinates you the most and drew you to join Winning Team?

I really loved the comedy of the film. There are wonderful arcs in the relationships of each character, the situations they find themselves in, and where they all end up. After working on ‘Our Italian Christmas Memories’ it was a lot of fun to play in a more silly world as Noor.

Where are you and Noor most similar and where most different as human beings?

I think Noor is very expressive about her thoughts and doesn’t back down when she has a strong opinion, which I can absolutely relate to. She seems to always see the best in others which is so lovely to get to drop into… and as far as differences go, I think she operates from a bigger energy than I do on a day to day basis. So coffee was a big help on shoot days.

What’s been the biggest challenge for you in portraying Noor?

Trying to keep up with the brilliant comedy of Nadia and Kris was a fun challenge. They are both incredible actors with impeccable sensibility especially in physical comedy!

To all the fans looking forward to watching the movie, how would you describe Winning Team in just 3 words?

Competitive, Hilarious, Fun!

What can you tease about Noor’s journey throughout the movie?

Noor will absolutely make an impact in the story of our two leads, and their journey to getting to know each other more deeply.

Talking about the environment on set, how would you describe your experience while filming Winning Team and do you have any fun anecdotes to share?

Everyone involved was so playful and easy to be around. I think that the chemistry of all the actors really translated into the characters relationships with one another. Our director Jason had a great way of guiding the story through each scene and the crew was amazing.

If you could choose any other character from Winning Team, apart from Noor, that you would have loved to play, which one would it be and why?

I think the film is brilliantly cast, so I dont think I would be able to pick another role apart from Noor on this one!

Did you take anything from set, any prop or piece of costume, to remember your experience as Noor?

I have some great group photos from behind the scenes that are a great way to remember the experience during filming.

What can you tease about your next projects?

Im so excited to be joining a new project with Hallmark, that you will have to keep an eye out for this next wedding season…. Thats as much as I can share for now 🙂
