Ashley Williams Paul Campbell and Rryla McIntosh star in Falling Together, a new, original movie premiering September 21th at 8 p.m. ET/PT on Hallmark Channel. We at Survived the Shows had the incredible chance to speak with star Rryla McIntosh, who teased Hallmark’s Falling Together and her experience in the movie. Check out the full interview in the video below!
Can you tell us a bit about your character in Falling Together?
I played the character of Drea, and she is one of the new friends that Natalie meets who’s played by Ashley Williams. And Drea is just a good friend that helps Natalie through her ups and downs throughout the story. She’s kind of silly, very quirky, but also a very loyal and supportive friend. Mike Roll, the director, when we were starting the filming, he gave me a good note of how my character, Drea, is kind of like Natalie’s guardian angel. Not so much in the sense of granting all of her wishes, but helping her realize what’s true, truly important, amazing.
What initially attracted you to your role in Falling Together?
So when I first got the audition for Drea, I just loved how fun she was. She was definitely different than any other character I played before. And so it was very fun tapping into that inner child and finding the playfulness within her and myself.
