Denise Richards and James Hyde star in the new Nicely Entertainment’s Christmas movie A Christmas Frequency, premiering November 1 on Hulu. We at Survived The Shows had the pleasure of chatting with Star Casey Waller abour her experience in the making of “A Christmas Frequency“ and what fans can expect from the movie.
Can you tell us a bit about your character Maya?
She is the best friend everyone wants and the best friend that everyone needs. She is there to lift you up when you are down. She’s there to crack a smile when you’re sad. She is there to call you out when you are not doing what you’re supposed to be doing.
What initially attracted you to the role of Maya in “A Christmas Frequency”?
A lot of what I just said she’s the best friend that everyone wants and she’s silly, she’s just fun. I think that was that attracted me to that character to be the comedic relief, to be the one that, you know, when she pops up on screen, everyone’s like, oh, what is she going to say? Now that’s always exciting to play. That’s always really fun. And I saw myself a little bit in Maya. That’s the kind of friend that I aspire to be.
