We at Survived The Shows had the great pleasure of chatting with star Debbie Podowski, ahead of the premiere, and discuss her involvement in the making of Tipline Mysteries: Dial 1 for Murder and what can fans expect from it. Check out the full interview in the video below!
Can you tell us a bit about your character in Tipline Mysteries: Dial 1 for Murder?
The character is a bit of a mystery because we don’t really know a lot about her off the top and her husband. I think she’s a very, she’s a very busy, strong woman, and her and her husband are coming to the city to start their new jewelry store, and they’re kind of new to the city, and they sort of get acclimated with a lot of, I would say, surprise. Get away.
What initially attracted you to your role in Tipline Mysteries: Dial 1 for Murder?
It’s just a fun caper, and I love sort of how Hallmark presents their, their capers. You know, they just have a lot of fun with it, and it’s just interesting twists and turns. And she was really a strong lady, but she was kind of fun to play. And anytime you get to kind of just have, have fun, but also get to tell it kind of an interesting story always makes you just want to go and work. It’s always such a pleasure to work on mows with Hallmark, and it’s really wonderful set, and everybody’s so kind. And the director this time was Jessica Harmon and her mom, Cindy. And they are so fantastic. You can’t say no to them because there’s just wonderful powerhouse women and such great directors, and everybody was great.
