UPTV ‘s movie “Discovering Love”, is all set to premiered on the channel on Sunday June 23th, 2024 at 8/7c. We at Survived The Shows had the pleasure of chatting with star Henry LeBlanc about his experience in the making of Discovering Love and what fans can expect from the movie.
Can you tell us a bit about your character in Discovering Love?
I play the dean of the college where the two star, the two leads, Liliana Tandon and Cheri Oteri, where they have their archaeology department. And like many things, it doesn’t. They’re not being published and they’re not being written about. So the department starts to get less attraction. So I have the sad news of coming to them and telling them basically they’re going to lose their jobs.
What do you think makes this movie so special and captivating?
You know, what happened? And it’s embarrassing. I kind of had a little tear in my eye at the end of it and it was so cute. And I think the performances are wonderful. All the actors, great job. I think what the audience will really take from it is the idea of giving over to your passion or giving over to your really what you want in life.
I think many times people kind of get caught up in, I need to do this, I should do that. This is what I’m supposed to do. And the characters in Discovering Love are doing that. I’m supposed to do this, I’m supposed to do that. This is what I think. But then when you give up that and kind of freely let yourself explore, you discover love and you discover good things. And it doesn’t have to be love. This movie is about that. But you discover all good things.
