Can you tell us a bit about your character in Return to Sender?
So I play a character named Pete in this movie, and Pete is this intelligent guy who is very much in his head, but at the core of him, he’s somebody who’s a lover and he’s somebody who is in love with finding mysteries. And through the whole process in this film, he really discovers who. Who he is. So it’s a really exciting character to play. He’s a very humble character and a little bit of a goofy character as well. So it was really. It was really fun to play him.
What initially attracted you to your role in Return to Sender?
Initially, when the audition came through. I’ve worked with, bar none before on another project called Baking Me Crazy, and I absolutely loved working on that project. It’s still one of my top five projects that I’ve worked on. So that’s initially what drew me. And then reading the script, I was really blown away. Turn to Sender isn’t just a regular rom com. It’s something about rediscovering yourself and reconnecting with others and, you know, finding love where you least expected it, or love that’s right in front of you. This is really such a love story. A perfect, cosy movie for what’s happening in the world right now and how the weather is changing. It really is just something full of love. It’s a big love movie, and you know that I love love, so it’s something that attracted me. And the potential for this. I think this story has so much potential to grow into more movies or more episodes. So that attracted me as well.
