Can you tell us a bit about your character in Return to Sender?

I play Ollie Roberts, and it’s kind of revealed at the start of the movie that I’m this building manager of an apartment in Washington, and a new tenant comes to town in Meg. And so I kind of run the building. Also it’s revealed a writer, a very successful writer in the movie with a novel. And he’s a fun loving guy, really focused on his art. But I think at the end of the day, loves community, loves his friends in the building, cares about his tenants very deeply. And, yeah, we kind of go on this little mystery adventure to reunite two lovers, which all gets really, really excited about and really into. So that’s kind of it.

What initially attracted you to your role in Return to Sender?

What initially attracted me to the role, I think, is mostly, like, the script. I love kind of, like, rom-com esque movies at this point. They’re so much fun to shoot a (I’m gonna use the word) easy, like, like, but it’s not easy per se, but it’s just easy in terms of just being able to have fun on set. On these rom coms, it’s quite relaxed. There’s a lot of laughs that happen within the cast and stuff. So I kind of knew that was gonna be the tone of this show, which I really, really appreciated. And just on top of that what also just attracted me to the project was I worked with UpTV before. So that’s also what attracted me to come back was just because I had such a good time last year and wanted to do it again.
