Can you tell us a bit about your character in Ainsley McGregor Mysteries: a Case for the Winemaker?
So Danny is the young guy who’s new to the town of Sweet river. He’s the only person in the movie that isn’t from Sweet river. And he’s basically just come into town, picked up a job at the winery, and he’s just trying to, like, ingratiate himself into the community and make friends. He’s really sociable, really friendly, and he’s off to a great start. He’s well liked in the community. That’s the beginning of Danny’s story.
What initially attracted you to your role in Ainsley McGregor Mysteries: a Case for the Winemaker?
Well, when I did the audition, I actually got to see the end of the movie as part of my audition. So I was immediately excited about it from just doing my tape. And then, of course, it’s a really interesting story overall. And when I got up to Kelowna, where we were shooting, I got to meet Martin and Candace and a couple other members of the casting crew. And it was just such a good vibe. And they just had this awesome, like, team kind of mentality or spirit that just like, I felt super welcome right away, so I was really excited to get going.
