Firehouse 51 helps Herrmann put on a school fundraiser. Carver’s troubled brother comes to town. A grateful citizen is determined to thank Brett and Severide for saving his life.
“Carver (played by Jake Lockett) will definitely have upcoming love interests, including one who is a very familiar face at 51,” Chi Fi EP and co-showrunner Andrea Newman tells Inside Line. “This, of course, will cause all kinds of intrigue at the firehouse.”
A few months ago there was some talk about a family-related storyline for Chicago Fire‘s Violet, which would bring in some Chicago Med characters/little crossovers. Is that still in the works?
“Right now there are no plans to do a family-related story for Violet with a connection to Med,” Fire EP and co-showrunner Andrea Newman tells Inside Line, “but we love when we have characters that can cross over to both shows, so who knows what will happen in the future!”
