Although her character Karen didn’t have the chance to live a full life, Melissa Ponzio couldn’t have a better memory of her experience on The Walking Dead, which at the time was the number one TV show in the world.
We at Survived The Shows had the pleasure of chatting with Melissa Ponzio about his experience as Karen on The Walking Dead Season 4 and whether she wish she could have the chance to share the scene with some other cast member. Check out full interview in the video below!
What’s your favorite memory about that experience on The Walking Dead?
Melissa Ponzio: Well, it was really wonderful to be able to shoot here in Atlanta again. I keep repeating myself, but not everybody gets to be on the number one television show in the world. It was crazy. And for me, one of my favorite memories is working with Melissa McBride, who played Carol. Melissa and I have been friends for 20 years and we hadn’t worked together. And so this was the first time working together. And the fact that she could kill me, right, was a lot of fun.
Is there any other cast member of The Walking Dead you would have loved to have a scene or storyline with while you were on the show?
MP:You know, my time was so brief and again it was a short life. In a full life, I don’t know if there was anyone else. You know I got a lot of exposure coming from the governor’s team and then the whole Woodbury, it seems like for the for the short 7 episodes that I was there I feel like I worked with a lot of of of the cast members and so I don’t, I don’t it would be too greedy for me to say to work with someone else.
