The Dutch actress, best known for her role as Geillis Duncan in the STARZ time travel drama, Outlander, stars in the new movie The Book of Vision alongside Charles Dance (Game of Thrones) which was presented on the opening day of the 77th Venice Film Festival for the International Film Critics’ Week.
The movie tells about Eva (Lotte Verbeek), a mysterious doctor, who searches for an answer to her urgent dilemma as she unravels Dr. Anmuth (Charles Dance)‘s Book of Vision. Stellan gets involved in her life and is forced to confront his own nature, as Eva faces the biggest decision of her life.
The cast also features a well-known Italian face, especially for his role in the original Netflix series Suburra, Filippo Nigro.
The movie, which is also produced in Italy, is out in cinemas today, September 3.
