Quantum Leap is bringing in some familiar faces for Season 2, premiering Wednesday, Oct. 4 at 8/7c on NBC: Eliza Taylor (The 100) and Peter Gadiot (Yellowjackets, One Piece) have been added on Quantum Leap Season 2 as series regulars, TVLine has learned.
Taylor is set to play Hannah Carson, “a complex young woman who may be more than she appears”. She will be introduced in Season 2 Episode 3.
Gadiot, meanwhile, will portray U.S. Army Officer Tom Westfall, who is former special forces and will oversee the Quantum Leap project. He’s described as “thoughtful,” “centered,” and “a spiritual kind of warrior who both men and women admire. But whose humility keeps him from ever being arrogant.”
NBC previously announced that Manifest alum Melissa Roxburgh will guest-star alongside Francois Arnaud (Midnight Texas), Aaron Abrams (Hannibal, Blindspot), and P.J. Byrne (The Boys, Shazam! Fury of the Gods) in the Season 2 premiere.

Quantum Leap‘s Season 1 finale saw Ben leap into his own body in 2018 to stop Martinez from killing Addison.
Showrunner Martin Gero previously confirmed that Martinez is “very dead” after being shot in the Western town of Salvation in 1879. The episode ended with Ben bracing for his return home, but as the Season 2 sneak peek confirmed, he — spoiler alert — wound up in the body of a man named Perez in 1978 instead.
Gero also teased that the upcoming episodes will be “even more focused on the leaps,” giving space for the NBC show’s secondary characters to really grow. “It’s deeply, deeply emotional in a way that I think is going to be surprising and exciting,” he shared.
