Long awaited by fans of the saga, Outlander has finally found its young William Ransom, Ninth Earl of Ellesmere, illegitimate son of Jamie Fraser then adopted by Lord John Grey: Charles Vandervaart.
Who is Charles Vandervaart?
Charles Vandervaart was born on September 9, 2000 in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
He made his acting debut in 2010 in the uncredited television film Patricia Cornwell – At Risk. That same year, he also starred in another television film, Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam
Vandervaart has starred in many television series including Bomb Girls, Reign, Private Eyes and Lost in Space.
But his most famous roles have been in the series Murdoch Mysteries, The Stanley Dynamic and Holly Hobbie.
For the big screen, she starred in the films Every Day (2018) and The Craft: Legacy (2020).
In addition to being an actor, Vandervaart is also an accomplished athlete who plays numerous sports, including hockey, rock climbing, basketball, football, swimming, kayaking, sailing, cross-country running and triathlon.
