Hallmark star Rhiannon Fish took us on an unforgettable journey — from the icy edges of Antarctica to the stunning peaks of Machu Picchu. In our exclusive interview, she opened up about the challenges, the laughs, and the surprises behind filming this truly wild romantic adventure.
❄️ 1. Starting Out in Antarctica
Before the warm sunsets and romantic vibes, it was all about survival.
“We were literally filming in –20°C. At one point, I couldn’t feel my face,” Rhiannon laughed.
The cast and crew had to use special thermal gear to protect themselves and the equipment. Cameras fogged up, fingers froze — but the passion for storytelling kept everyone going.
🏔️ 2. Plot Twist: From Ice to Incan Ruins
After enduring the brutal cold, Rhiannon’s journey led her straight to Peru.
“One week I’m wrapped in six layers, the next I’m gasping for air at 3,000 meters in Machu Picchu!”
Altitude sickness, llamas photobombing the set, and spontaneous dance breaks made the Peruvian leg of the shoot an adventure of its own.

When asked about her favorite behind-the-scenes moment, Rhiannon didn’t hesitate:
“There was this alpaca that got way too comfortable with the crew. We couldn’t stop laughing.”
