Let’s discuss those which, according to us, are the most exciting or charismatic moments that marked Sophia Bush ‘s career.
5. Love, Victor

Her most recent work, sees her as Veronica in Hulu’s “Love, Victor”. A sequel to the successful movie “Love, Simon”, the show follows the footsteps of the teenage protagonist and his family, who moves to a new city. Victor is questioning his own sexuality and the series follows precisely the evolution of this boy who writes with Simon in the movie version.
Bush’s character is the love interest of Mia’s father, Victor’s high school partner. I was not very surprised to find Sophia in a project like this, but at the same time I was thrilled. Recently the choices she make in her career are elegant and aimed at pursuing those which are the values that she carries forward in her activity of influencer. She’s always on the forefront in fact to advance the rights of the LGBT+ community.
4. Easy

To remain in the LGBT+ theme, last year Sophia guest-starred in an episode of Easy, anthology TV series created, written and produced by Joe Swanberg for the streaming platform Netflix. Her character, Alexandria, is Jo’s the love interest, played by Jacqueline Toboni, which we will see again as Finley in the series The L Word: Generation Q. Jacqueline and Sophia kept in contact after filming ended, as Toboni was a guest on Bush’s Work in Progress pod. It’s not the first time that Sophia played a gay role – in Alex, inc she played a radio speaker married to a woman – but it’s the first time that we see her struggling with gay erotic scenes and we can say that she did a very great job.
3. This is us.

At the end of last year it was announced that Sophia would be present in the second half of season four of the NBC hit series “This is us”. All fans of both the TV series and the actress were certainly thrilled to the idea and hoped that the woman could take part in an entire time frame of the show but unfortunately it was not.
The presence of Bush in fact has been reduced to a single episode and its storyline has been reduced to a soap bubble. We were all hoping that she would have been the mother of Kevin’s children, tell the truth! Actually, her character, Lizzy, had to deal with young Pearson, but not as we expected. The episode was wonderful but it left us of Survived the Shows, I must say, a little bitter.
2. Acts of Violence.

Not everyone can say that they have worked with actors like Bruce Willis, but Bush can. In 2018 the film Acts of Violence was released, in which Sophia played Detective Brooke Baker – the married name of the character of Bush in One Tree Hill, you already nostalgia?! -, the character’s right-hand man played by the famous Hollywood actor. The feature film did not get the desired success but still remains one of the milestones in the actress’ career. If you like the crime genre and want to see it you can do it on the online streaming platform Prime Video Amazon, and is also available in Italian.
1. Her sudden exit from Chicago PD.

May 2017 was a bolt from the blue for fans of Bush and the TV series in which he starred, Chicago PD. It was suddenly announced that her character Detective Erin Lindsay would not return for the fifth and subsequent season of the beloved TV series. Discordant ideas have followed on the real reason for his request to leave the cast. While she did not speak about it at least in the early days. But then her truth came out and she talked about it.
She described her experience on set as terrible and said she had suffered a constant burst of inappropriate behavior in a masculinist environment. From the statements made by the actress it’s inferred that Jason Beghe, the series lead, had held a violent and sexually abusive behavior towards his co-star. It was in fact opened an investigation by the network on the actor.
